App: AA-AuralListen Podcatcher (Android, package name io.github.rainerwingel.aurallisten)
Developer: Artem A. · Contact: via the

The app collects no personal data. There is no user account, no advertising, no tracking, no analytics or crash reports and no server of the developer. Everything you create in the app stays on your device.
This data only leaves the device when you trigger it: when you create a backup or an OPML export, you save the file to a place of your choice (e.g. the Downloads folder or a cloud storage). Uninstalling the app or “Clear data” in the Android settings removes everything.
The app connects directly to the following – never through a server of the developer:
rss.applemarketingtools.com and the iTunes lookup) and fyyd.de (newly added
podcasts), when you tap “Popular” or “New” in the search. No search term and nothing about you is transmitted, only the
request for the list.As with any request on the internet, these servers see technically necessary information, in particular your IP address, the time and the app’s identifier (user agent “AA-AuralListen/version”). The respective operators are responsible for the processing there; their privacy policies apply, e.g. Apple and fyyd.
The links on the app’s info page (privacy policy, source code on GitHub) only open your browser; the app itself transmits nothing. GitHub’s privacy statement applies on GitHub.
Some podcast providers still deliver files over unencrypted http://. The app loads them anyway so that these
podcasts work; such transfers are then not encrypted.
The app color “Match wallpaper” reads the colors of your wallpaper from the Android system. This happens only on the device; nothing is transmitted.
The app does not read contacts, location, photos or any other files. Files (backup, OPML) are only opened or saved when you select them yourself in the Android file dialog.
The app is not specifically aimed at children and does not collect data from them either.
Since the developer does not receive, store or process any personal data from you, there is nothing to disclose, correct or delete on the developer’s side. Your rights under the GDPR towards the operators named above (podcast providers, Apple, fyyd) are governed by their privacy policies.
If the app’s behavior regarding privacy changes, this page will be updated; the date at the top shows the current version.
